Brady McDonald — "Impossible Ice Cream Challenge" (Demo Edit)
YouTube Edit / Demo
Brady McDonald's production team brought us in for a test edit — a chance to prove we could take a folder of raw footage and turn it into a story that actually holds an audience. We didn't shoot a frame of this; the entire job was post-production: structuring the story, cleaning up audio, and selecting music and sound design to keep the pacing tight and the energy up.
The footage followed Brady's daughters sending him on a string of challenges across a training day, ending with a race to grab their favorite ice cream on a Florida island and get it back before it melted — all in preparation for his "Zero to 100" campaign, a 50-day run across all 50 states raising $1 million for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
This wasn't a documentary edit — it was built specifically in a punchier, faster YouTube style, cut for pace and watchability rather than a slower narrative build. It's featured here as an example of how we approach story structure and pacing when we're handed raw footage and asked to find the story inside it.
