When Heartland Church in Ankeny wanted to launch a podcast for Pastor Dave Olson, we led the entire process from the ground up — designing the studio, selecting the equipment, and building a three-camera setup: a dedicated shot for Dave, a dedicated shot for his guest, and a wide shot on an automated slider that kept the frame in constant, subtle motion.

Every episode was live-switched in real time on a Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro ISO, with an audio engineer running live sound on a RØDECaster Pro II. From there, we finished each episode in Adobe Premiere — building a custom intro, adding on-screen elements to encourage subscribers, and designing all of the thumbnails and title cards for the show's biweekly release.

Dave has a deep well of stories, connections, and theological knowledge — some episodes are a single powerful story, others dig deep into scripture and teaching. Beyond running production, we also worked directly with Dave on how he engaged guests and spoke to his audience, refining the show's voice episode by episode.
